thank you

Thanks very much for the morning off tomorrow.  I am SUPER excited.  < See, I even used caps.  That is how excited I am.  Anyway, to celebrate I thought I'd upload a few photos from my winter break in Palm Springs (warm weather please come back).

Everything is so bright and beautiful there, I want to go back!

This was, as we called him, my grandpa's hummingbird.  They are very curious — don't really care how close someone is to the feeder, as long as it's not another bird.

The most beautiful part of this bird was the gleaming pink/purple neck.

and finally, this is probably the funniest picture EVER.  We told him to smile normally, and this is what he gave us.

wayfinding project

Tonight I took a friend over to Lindley Hall and had her find the bathroom as quick as possible.  It took her four minutes!  Needless to say this is a problem if you've got to go.  Hopefully we can come up with a great way to make finding the restroom easier in this hall.  I'd upload the video, but it's not working :/
